What is Hevy’s Monthly Report?

Hevy’s monthly report is a summary or recap of your training from last month. From the first to the last day of each month, you can access the previous month’s summary and view stats like:

  • The number of workouts
  • Time spent training
  • Volume load
  • The number of completed sets

You can also display time spent training, volume, and number of sets on the graph at the top and see how it compares to previous months:

There’s an overview of your records for the month; you can tap on each to see the workout where it occurred:

Below that is an overview of your workout days for the month; you can tap on any blue circle to see the specific session:

There’s also data on muscle distribution and how it compares to the month before:

Next up, you can see what muscles you’ve trained and how many sets you’ve done for each:

Finally, there’s a list of the top exercises you’ve logged for the month:

Also, don’t forget to share your month’s achievements with people outside Hevy:

Hevy’s monthly reports are similar to the year in review, but they only summarize the previous month of training and highlight your achievements.

Best workout tracking app

This is by far my favorite workout tracking app. You can tell that the creators work out themselves because they know how important it is to be able to label drop sets, failure sets, supersets, etc. It allows me to track everything I need. When if it’s been a while since I did an exercise I can easily take a look at my history.

Kept Me Accountable

I have been using this app since January. I love it. It’s the thing that had kept me in the gym this year because it helps me see results. I love how it syncs with my watch and I can input the weight and reps on my watch or phone. I appreciate that it supplies workouts for different splits so I don’t need to pay for a trainer. I love how it holds the last rep and weight from the previous time I did the exercise.

Really helpful illustrations

My focus now is on building functional strength to avoid injuries as I age. Coming back to lifting as an adult with moderate gym anxiety, the Hevy app has helped me track progress on my weights and allowed me to make intelligent choices about increasing the amount I’m lifting. I really appreciate the illustrations and animations that help me learn new movements.

Monthly reports show the number of completed workouts, the time spent training, the number of total sets you’ve done, your total volume, the volume distribution between different muscles, a list of personal records, the main muscles you’ve trained, and the exercises you’ve logged most often.
No. Hevy’s monthly reports are set up in a way that only allows you to access the previous month’s recap. For example, you can only access the January report during February and February’s recap during March.
Yes, Hevy’s monthly reports are available whether you use the app’s free version or have a Pro subscription ($2.99 monthly).
It doesn’t change anything. They will appear as your ‘top exercises’ and contribute to the muscle distribution chart and the main muscles you’ve trained for the month (so long as you’ve appropriately labeled primary and secondary muscles when creating them).
Navigate to the Profile tab, tap Statistics, and scroll to the bottom, where you will see Monthly Report.
