Recently made the swap from pen and paper for tracking + planning my workouts and it’s been great. I especially like that it calculates your total volume lifted, gives a graphical representation of your training and remembers your last sessions so you can progressively overload. 



Great App for tracking workouts

Have been using this app since 6-7 months. It’s easy to use, simple and well designed. You can store up to 4 routines in the free version and tracking is unlimited. Would highly recommend. Happy Workout!

Logging workouts on the Hevy app is intuitive and fast. Add the exercises you would like to do in your workout, add the sets, weight/reps, and tap the checkmark when completing each set. When the exercise is completed, tap ‘Finish’ then ‘Save.’
Hevy is the best app for 5×5 because it allows you to log, track and monitor your progress. Seeing how you are improving visually over time can be empowering and motivating. Other users can also like and comment on workouts to keep you on track with your workout goals.
Having a rest timer between sets can help us take an adequate amount of rest between sets to perform at our best. Tap ‘Rest timer’ below the exercise name, and swipe up to choose the amount of rest time you need between each set. The rest timers can be set individually for each exercise.
