Hevy’s looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the team. As a dev at Hevy, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining both the frontend and backend of our mobile+web apps. You’ll collaborate with product managers and designers to bring new features to life and improve the overall user experience.

This position will require you to work on-site in St. Thomas, On, Canada 2-3 days a week. Unfortunately, we aren’t currently doing visa sponsorship.

We’re a small team supporting millions of users, so the work you do will have a massive impact. You’ll build, at scale, on all our platforms: iOS, Android, WatchOS, WearOS, and web.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 👩‍💻 Experience with React(-Native), Typescript, Node.js and PostgreSQL. 
• 🎙️ Excellent communication skills.
• 🌳 You write code primarily to add value to customers. You don’t get lost in the weeds, you can asses risk/tradeoffs and you optimise for positive human impact.
• 📱 Bonus if you have native iOS or Android experience
• 🏋️‍♂️ Bonus if you have at least some interest in weightlifting or calisthenics training
